This type of water jar has a prototype by NINSEI (Volume 12, “NINSEI Kenzan”), and NINAMI copied it. It is not as light and delicate as NINSEI’s work, and it is inevitable that it feels like a copy. Ninami’s seal is stamped on the foot ring, and the lid of the box is inscribed “Ninsei-style water jug with ears, Ninami” and bears Ninami’s square red seal.
