This is a Raku ware incense container depicting the Seven Gods of Good Fortune, and is another humorous work typical of Niami. Benten, Hotei, Bishamon, Ebisu Daikoku, Fukurokuju and Juro are depicted in a caricature-like manner. There is a seal on the bottom, and the lid of the box has the words “Shichifukujin Kogou Niami” written on it, along with a gourd seal.
