The name is inscribed due to the pressed design of a standing crane on the front. This standing crane is undoubtedly the same as the one seen on the previously mentioned “Gohon Tachikaku Chawan,” and it is likely that this is the only piece of its kind by Kōirahō. However, it serves as a valuable reference indicating that both were produced in the same kiln. The interior features the characteristic sand texture, and the bamboo-jointed foot is also exquisite.
