This tea bowl was originally a serving dish and was probably highly prized.
It was later used as a tea bowl, which is where its charm lies.
The author has never actually used this tea bowl, but judging from its flashy colors, the tea master who recognized it as a tea bowl must have been very bold.
This tea bowl has a four-sided shape, with green glaze and red clay base, and the patterns of a single wheel, squares, and circles are skillfully painted, suggesting it was originally made as a serving dish.
Red-glazed tea bowls are very rare, but regardless of the original intention, this is undoubtedly one of the finest examples.
