This pottery was probably produced at the Sanage kiln or in the Tokai region, judging from its clay and glaze tone. It is made of fine white clay and wheel-thrown, and the lower half of the body was ground to adjust the surface.
The firing was excellent, and the ash glaze on the shoulder and a part of the body turned yellowish green after oxidizing firing, which combined with the whiteness of the base, produced an excellent finish.
