Chashaku (tea scoop)
This chashyaku is unusually thick and the oar tip is bent in a sharp manner. As promised, the tip of the oar is bent at the left shoulder, but the gutter from the joint to the top is clearly visible. This is where the name “waterfall” comes from. There are insect bites on the joints, and the left side of the joints is frayed from the bottom of the joints to near the cut end. This chashyaku has a strong individuality in contrast to the more mundane “Shofu” and other chashyaku with a more mundane appearance.

Tube
This is one of the most beautiful chashyudan tubes ever produced. The front of the cylinder is thinly chamfered, and the blackish mottling is like moss, giving the appearance of water falling from a waterfall onto a rock. The poor calligraphy of Sotan is written on the surface in a faltering manner, while the sides are handwritten by Gyokusyu.
Front: “Waterfall, Jikkusai” by Sotan, side: “Seated down, Tongue of a man under heaven” by Gyokshu
