Height: 8.3 cm, Mouth Diameter: 11.3 cm, Foot Diameter: 5.4 cm
This piece is believed to be the work of Ōhi II and displays excellent craftsmanship. While the form, particularly the rise from the waist to the rim, suggests the influence of Dōin, the entire body retains fine, rough traces of the potter’s wheel. The design of the footring is also full of character, featuring a deep, swastika-shaped indentation on the inside.
Additionally, there are traces of fine chiseling on the interior surface, and a tea pool has been carved out. Unusually for Ōhi ware, the piece is thick overall and covered entirely with a thin layer of amber glaze. No seal is stamped on it.
