This flower vase has a triangular mouth that creates a rounded shape reminiscent of a rice ball, with a round handle attached to the shoulder just below it.
From the triangular mouth to the rim, beidoro (glass inlay) covers half the surface; the rest is made of reddish clay with a geta-style stamp, and scorch marks are visible near the rim.
It is said to have come from the former collection of Lord Inoue Seigai. In 1925, it was acquired by Masuda Don’o through a family auction, and the inscription “Hashidate” was added later.
