Specialty. Raku ware tea bowl, red, one of the seven types outside Chojiro. It is so named because there is a seal of Rikyu’s Ichimoji inside the bowl.
It was originally owned by Sotan Sen, then passed down through the Kagiya Somori, Saba Gobei, Yamada Hikozaemon, Inoue family, and Masuda family. In addition, there is a black tea bowl of the third generation Doyuri with the same inscription, which is said to have been handwritten by the Lady Nyoin in her own hand, and it was handed down to the Okada family in Kyoto.
