A great masterpiece. A tea caddy by Han Dynasty. Misoya is the name of the original owner, but the period and address are unknown. It is also called Einin Kashirazu because it was once in the possession of Kameya Einin. This tea caddy is a unique tea caddy as it is a large and lonesome piece of Chinese work, and has a curved part on the body. It was presented to the shogunate by a certain Misoya of Harashomochi, and Tokugawa Hidetada gave it to Kameya Gentaro. Later, it became a treasure of the Konoike family in Osaka via Itoya Shigezaemon of Kyoto. (Taisho Meikikan)
