Another name for Joseon Busan Kiln. Wagan-yang is the Korean word for tile ware. Most of the old tile ware excavated in Korea dates from the period of the unification of the three kingdoms of Goguryeo, Baekje, and Silla through the Goryeo period, and is mainly unglazed gray or red in color, but rarely has a soft yellow or green glaze on its body. After more than 470 years of the Goryeo Dynasty and 519 years of the Yi Dynasty, it is still being actively fired as miscellaneous daily-use kiln ware in Korea today.
