This is an imposing large jar with large, stout shoulders. It is made of relatively high-quality clay with some pebbles and is well tempered, giving it a brownish-brown color. The yellowish-brown natural glaze running from the neck of the mouth to the lower half of the body on one half of the vessel makes this jar even more powerful.
