This small jar has a flat rim with a short, thickened outer lip and a sloping outer rim, and is molded with rolled clay.
The vessel is molded with rolled clay, and the surface has been shaped by jade shaving. The ware is very well finished, with a dark brown natural glaze on the rim and shoulder. It is somewhat foreign to Tamba pottery and may be Echizen pottery.
