This flat-rimmed small jar with a short curved mouth is probably the ancestor of the “ku” shaped mouth rimmed small jars. One end of the rim is held down to form a bird’s-beak shaped mouth. The exterior is made of rolled-up clay, and the upper half of the surface is covered with horizontal nade and the lower half with vertical brushstrokes. There is a thin 箟描 kiln mark on the shoulder. It is well fired and has a smooth brownish-brown color. There is a sticking of the same shape with heavy firing on the underside of the bottom.
