This is a large jar with a so-called “warp mouth rim.” The mouth rim has already changed from a double-layered mouth to a single-layered sharp-edged one. The body is still in the shape of an arithmetic sphere, but it was probably made in the early 14th century. The body is made of eight-stage hagi-zukuri with a rolled-up corded clay body. There are two kiln marks on the shoulder. The firing is good, with a reddish-brown color and a yellowish-green glaze on the half surface of the shoulder, making it a magnificent piece of work.
