Height 20.5cm, Diameter 20.0cm, Base Diameter 11.9cm
This is a thick, cylindrical brazier with a design of plum trees carved in relief on the front, and brown paint applied over this. There is a round hole in the center of the base, which is open to the air, giving the impression of a full moon with plums arranged around it. The plum design is also solid and painterly, and a square seal is stamped on the flat bottom. On the underside of the box lid, Eiraku Wazen wrote the following in November 1873: “Umetsuki Rokuro Kinoki Yone Jisaku ya Oju Wazen Shiki (signature)”.
