 The body of this jar is straight toward the bottom with no shoulder tension, which is later for this jar form, but the fact that the neck of the mouth is still open does not indicate that it dates from the early 14th century. The clay used is high in iron content, and the ware is extremely well finished, with a natural yellowish-green glaze running over a brownish-brown surface.
