This kiln was located in Okawachi-machi, Imari City, Saga Prefecture. The date of the kiln’s founding is not clear, but it belongs to a branch of Arita porcelain and is counted as one of the outer mountains. In the mid-Meiji period, there were workers such as Tatsuji Ogushi, Katsu7 Takeshita, Moemon Ogushi, Tetsuzo Maeda, Kyubei Iwasaki, and others, and it is said that they fired miscellaneous ordinary dyed ware, mainly rice bowls.
