This small jar has a 2.3 cm wide mouth rim band, and has a form unique to the late Kamakura period, with a strong shoulder that bends toward the body in a “ku” shape. The rim band is not N-shaped, but is pulled up, and the inner surface has a stepped concave line. The clay is a coarse clay with a lot of feldspar spatter, which has been well fired to a brownish-brown color, and the entire surface of the shoulder is covered with a rich dark green natural glaze.
