Height 6.3 cm, mouth diameter 11.8 cm, bottom diameter 8.0 cm
These two pieces are from a set of five pieces that have been handed down in the Shino tradition. The body is decorated with a floral motif in relief, and the design on the body is different from other Shino wares in that it depicts a chrysanthemum, a pampas grass, a chrysanthemum, and a glauber’s scepter. The glaze is well melted and the reddish color is vivid. The floral part of this piece is rarely seen in relief. The bottom has been carved in a go-zoko style.
