Height 11.7cm, left and right 14.6cm, four legs
This rounded, rounded incense burner has elephant-shaped ears on the left and right sides of the body, a rabbit on the strap of the lid, and a knob with a chrysanthemum-shaped perforation in the center to indicate the smoke outlet. The flat bottom has feet on all four sides, and the front and back of the body have white openings in which a Ryuta River pattern is shown, surrounded by arabesques in gold and green on a red ground. The white underglaze glaze is softly fired and has the ideal texture for Insei’s white glazes, and the color scheme is also gorgeous, with gold, red, and green as the main colors, which is unique to Insei. Silver is applied to the elephant ears and Longtian River wave patterns, but the silver is oxidized and burnished black. The interior of the body is clay, and the back and bottom of the lid are glazed. There is no mark of Insei, but there is no doubt that it is by Insei.
