Height 8.1cm, mouth diameter 9.9cm, base diameter 4.0cm
This is a hand-kneaded Raku ware half-tube tea bowl, but unlike the Raku family’s tea bowls, one side of the body has been painted white and a picture of bamboo and a poem have been inscribed on it. It is said that there is no Raku ware in Kenzan, because he was related to So-iru of Raku ware and did not make similar ones to those of the Raku family, but there remains a Raku ware tea bowl with a style unique to Kenzan with this kind of workmanship. This tea bowl can be said to be a tea bowl with a painted pattern unique to Qianzan in the style of black Oribe, with a strong and sturdy body, and the body on the white ground is vividly decorated with bamboo and inscribed with the inscription “Rinpu yuyuu voice, Qianzan Shohi (calligraphy)”. The base is small and tight, and there are three marks on the tatami mat.
