In the 10th year of Bunsei Era (1818), Sengen went to Kishu accompanied by Sukeisai of Omotesenke and fired Nishihama Oniwa Pottery. It is said that he received two seals, “Kawahama Shiryu” and “Eiraku” from Marquis Nariyun Tokugawa, and made this incense container as a commemorative gift to commemorate his return to Tokyo. This incense container has a unique design with a gold-encrusted lid and chrysanthemum flowers placed all over the back of the lid, and the stamens are decorated with yellow. The bottom of the lid is a so-called flat round shape with a goze bottom. The seal of “Kawahama Shiryu” is stamped on the back of the lid, and the seal of “Eiraku” is stamped on the inside of the base. On the back of the box, Sukeisai also wrote “Zengoro ‘Saku no Soza’ made by Zengoro with a seal of receipt in the winter of 1911” and on the bottom of the box, he wrote “Zengoro (Hanaseki)”.
