All of the small vases from Ohtobishima are Sansai in color, with seven bodies and thirteen lids. Some have rounded bodies and others have stout shoulders, with the former having a tauter base than the latter. The height of the base is more prominent on the former, indicating a difference in time period. The glaze is a common green glaze with a staggered staggered arc pattern.
