Tea Scoop
For Rikyū, it is relatively thickly made, with a groove visible below the grain.

Tube
Genuine tube, with a cherry bark-wrapped rim. The mark (a circle with the character for “change”) is in Rikyū’s handwriting, reading “Yahara Dōkyō”. The stopper is likely a later addition.

Accessories
Box: Paulownia wood, natural finish. Inscription: “Yahara Rikyu-saku” (Yahara Rikyu made) in the hand of Kobori Enshu.
Inside Lid: Inscription: “Tsubo-sho-tsuki Rikyu-hitsu” (Tubuscript by Rikyu) in the hand of Sen no Rikyu.
Certification Label Box: Paulownia wood, natural finish. Inscription: “Matsudaira Fumai-hitsu” (Matsudaira Fumai’s hand). “Rikyu Tea Scoop and Tube”
Authenticity Tags: Two. Written by Ryōi and Ryōon. The wrapping paper states: “This tea scoop with Rikyu’s inscription on the tube came from Ishio Shichibei.”
