Height 7.5 cm, Mouth diameter 13.2 cm, Foot diameter 5.2 cm
This tea bowl also features a richly rounded form, with the rim slightly drawn inward, a rounded body, and a slightly elevated, well-defined foot. The interior is spacious and wide, the rim is oval-shaped, and the glaze is thickly applied both inside and out, with a thick accumulation of glaze at the rim’s edge. Five kiln marks remain on the foot, and there are clamping marks on the inside and outside below the rim. A mark reading “Raku” is stamped inside the foot, but it is not clear.
This piece has been passed down in the Konoike family; on the underside of the inner box lid, Chokusa has written, “Made by Nonkō: Black Tea Bowl, Young Green (Seal).”
