14th century
Height 41.5 cm, mouth diameter 15.2-15.7 cm, body diameter 38.4 cm, bottom diameter 14.8 cm
The tip of the neck, which stands upright, is bent outward to form a rounded rim band. The body is made of five-tiered hagi-muki with a rolled-up clay cord, and the surface of the vessel is shaped using a molding technique. The surface of the body was shaped using a five-step process of winding clay cord. The surface of the bowl is extremely well finished, with a thick layer of yellowish green natural glaze on the shiny brown surface, which flows down to the lower half of the body, showing a superb execution. There are two marks on the underside of the bottom.
