The edge of the mouth rim is slightly bent to create a rounded mouth.
The body is made of dense clay containing many fine particles of feldspar, and the firing has been tightened so that the brownish-brown surface of the vessel looks as if it were covered with molten feldspar and sprinkled with white dots. The mouth neck and one side of the body are covered with a dark green natural glaze, which has fused with the feldspar and turned the surrounding area white.
