This is one of the long jar series. The upright oral tip is turned outward to form a rounded rim. The surface of the vessel is shaped using a vertical comb in the cat’s-painting technique. The vessel is well fired, with a yellowish green natural glaze on the shoulder and running down to the lower half of the body, which is slightly oxidized and shows burn marks on the glazed surface.
