Suribachi (ground bowls) are extremely rare in Tamba. This is in contrast to Bizen, where ground bowls are the main product. This suribachi has a flat rim on the top surface. The inner surface is grated quite densely using a comb with six teeth. The inner bottom of the bowl has spiral-shaped teeth drawn with a comb. The ware is poorly fired and yellowish green in color. There is a geta mark on the bottom back.
