　Unlike the Shozui type, this piece is gentle and graceful. The body is covered with a white glaze from the lid to the body, on which a fan and vine-flower pattern is painted in an elegant manner. The bottom of the bowl has a shallowly carved clay bottom in the style of a go-zoko, and the left side of the bottom is stamped with Insei’s gourd-shaped seal. The lid of the inner box is marked “Insei Gourd Incense Box,” and the lid of that box has a high top, which is known as a so called sohwa box.
