Iga ware vase. This vase is square in shape, from the mouth to the ears. The burnished surface covers the bottom seven steps, and the beadlo is freshly melted. The name “Jurojin” is said to be derived from the shape of the drooping ears. Currently in the collection of the Fujita Museum of Art.
