This jar has an upright, slightly inward-tilted mouth neck and a flattened, shouldered body, and represents a change from 14th-century wagashi wares. The number of vases in this series is extremely small. The clay is rolled up and molded, the surface of the vessel is brushed and the interior is smooth. The natural green glaze on the half-surface from the neck to the shoulder is very good, and this is one of the most beautiful jars with a heavy feeling.
