This thick, boat-shaped yakken has a solid foot on the bottom. The entire surface is painted with red dobe and the sides are covered with ash. The flat mouth is stepped and the tip is incised to form a pouring box. It seems to have actually been used as a medicine knife, and there are traces of sharpening on the prospective surface. It is estimated to have been made in the kamaya period because of the dobe coating, but it was probably made in the early Edo period.
