Height 26.4 cm, mouth diameter 11.7 cm, body diameter 21.9 cm, bottom diameter 11.5 cm
The continuous pattern from the shoulder to the mouth and the two-tiered line pattern at the base are both expressed in underglaze blue. The body is decorated with bamboo and plum blossoms centered on a wiggly taiko-seki stone, and two tigers are depicted to the right of the plum blossoms. Although the depiction of the tigers is somewhat caricatured, it is reminiscent of the kosode hinagata of the Kanbun period. Although the overall design is rather diffuse, the arrangement of bamboo, plum blossoms, and tigers is unusual for a Kakiemon-style vase of this type.
