The shape is thin and small, resembling a poison cup, with a high foot. The glaze has a pale blue hue, and red spots are dotted around the base, creating a beautiful design. The exterior is adorned with a large pattern resembling a cat’s scratch, reminiscent of a cypress fence. This is a type of tea bowl made using the “kirigata” technique.
