　This highly artificial mizusashi has a beaten body with indentations on all four sides. The entire surface of the exterior is engraved with horizontal stripes and vertical lines, and the entire body, except for the bottom and interior, is completely covered with a black ame glaze. The bottom of the jar is marked with a molded “L” mark, so we can be sure that it was made by the Tani Kiln of the jar maker, and the lid is also marked with an “L” on the reverse side.
