Sue ware hasō had a long life span from the early Sue ware to the middle of the Nara period (710-794). In the final stage, the mouth neck opens wide like a trumpet, and the shoulder of the body is bent with a ridge and has a high base. In the eastern part of the country, the body of the 8th century, a spout was placed in a hole in the body. This is one of the larger hasō vessels, and was probably made for ritual use.
The base is white, and the natural glaze on the rim and the shoulder of the body is a bright green color, suggesting that it was made in the Tokai region.
