It is said this inscription was chosen because the glaze is particularly beautiful.
The characteristic feature is the beautiful mottled appearance of the Seto glaze, covering the entire piece. There is also a story that because it is from Mimasaka, it is generally liked by most people, so it is said that Enshu and others jokingly called it ‘mostly hand.’
In terms of form, this style is among the finest even within the Kinka-zan kiln. The clay is typically a delicate white and finished beautifully.
There are four covers. Both the Kinran and the Donshu are seen in the style favored by Enshu.
