Enshu’s single-cut vases feature various types of bamboo, including rust-colored bamboo, blue bamboo, and weathered bamboo. Each reflects Enshu’s personal preferences. In particular, this bamboo was selected from root bamboo for its bluish hue and crafted accordingly.
The high-waisted node and the node at the base of this vase give the entire piece a compact, solid feel, while the beauty of the faint blue visible along the shaft aptly reflects its name.
