上質の磁胎で、低く立ち上がった縁をくっきりと縁紅にし、見込の円窓部は一段低くなっています。その内に山茶花に一羽の小禽を宿らせ、まわりには染付の祥瑞丸文を十五個めぐらし、二つずつ上絵付しています。類例のない器形の台鉢であり、染付、上絵ともに美しく焼き上がっています。
