This tea caddy is tall and resembles a shoulder-shaped caddy, but it is plump and was probably considered to be a Bunrin style.
The glaze is uneven, with many reddish streaks flowing down and gathering at the bottom. There are some traces of clay, and the bottom is cut with a thread.
It was owned by Michiichi Hirano, hence its name.
It comes with a round tray, four covers, and a white tea caddy with a white tea caddy cover by Shouko Donshu, Kandou Asakura, and Shima Kandou.
